However, there is another issue regarding the Armenian-Iranian border, which seems to have been forgotten. Almost a decade ago, the Armenian government announced its intention to create a free economic zone on the Armenian-Iranian border. with illegalities in the expropriation process.
It is good that these revelations were made, because if there were illegalities, there should be someone who answers for it, but what happened to the free economic zone?
Has he given up on that plan and intention? If it's about the legal processes, then despite their importance, steps should be taken so that they don't interfere with the most important task, the formation of a free economic zone.
When we talk about the security of Syunik, we must also record that one of the most important components of that security should be the economy and the reconciliation of economic interests. eg India, Gulf countries.
Of course, this is a process that implies complex political and diplomatic work, but security, especially in the conditions of modern world chaos, requires the ability to perform this complex work.
Back in 2021, I expressed that, in my opinion, we should also develop an idea of public and economic significance, which would allow targeted involvement of the pan-Armenian potential around Meghri, one of Armenia's strategic cities, thereby forming an additional layer of the security system.
