Bringing together the contradictory and extremely scarce information about the Iran-US negotiations in the capital of Pakistan, it can be stated that about an hour ago, discussions between the technical teams of the delegations and some kind of tripartite process started.
The latter, I think, cannot yet be called full-fledged face-to-face or indirect negotiations, but its existence is a fact.
Rather, we are talking about a preliminary contact aimed at clarifying the negotiation framework between the parties, because there is an important pre-negotiation disagreement: the cease-fire in Lebanon, which did not take place, although Israel noticeably weakened the strikes.
The negotiations of the technical teams refer, in particular, to the process of unfreezing Iranian funds frozen as a result of the US sanctions, which was also an Iranian condition and agreed to in the US.
So far, there is no official announcement from either side, and almost everything is happening in a very closed format.
