The Iranian Foreign Minister noted that he met with Putin and the parties also discussed this issue, but more detailed negotiations on the topic with the Russian side will continue later. Aragchi emphasized that the issue is not at the final stage at the moment. It became known earlier that on March 9, Putin and US President Donald Trump discussed the situation around Iran during a telephone conversation.
According to Axios periodical, during the conversation it was suggested to transfer 450 kilograms of enriched uranium from Iran to Russia, but the White House rejected that idea.
