"I always wanted to stay and never once thought about leaving. As I have already said 150 times, I think that next season we will be in a much better position than now. This is the first season in my coaching career when we are not fighting for titles.
I have only been without titles once before, and this is not a very common situation for me. But the idea of leaving has not crossed my mind at all," Anfield Sector quotes Slot as saying.
The coach's current contract with the club is valid until the middle of 2027.
