Kobakhidze said that there is no political crisis in Georgia

Georgia is not experiencing a political crisis after protests and the opposition's refusal to recognize the results of the parliamentary elections. This was announced by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"The political crisis means that the country does not have a stable government or a stable majority in the parliament. There is a stable majority in this country, there is a stable government, therefore there is no political crisis," he said at the briefing.

After the October 26 parliamentary elections, the opposition parties, like President Salome Zurabishvili, refused to recognize the results, according to which the Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia party retained power in the country.
