The anti-corruption court recognized the innocence of Gagik Tsarukyan. As "Aravot" details, the public accuser and the accused Gagik Tsarukyan did not appear at today's court session in the anti-corruption court in the case of PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan and "Multi Group Concern" LLC director Sedrak Arustamyan. Tsarukyan's defense attorney informed the court that his client could not be present at the session due to participating in the campaign for the National Assembly elections to be held on June 7. The presiding judge Aram Grigoryan reminded the parties that there are no more issues to be discussed at the court session, additional deliberations are over, so the court leaves for a separate room to make a verdict, which will be announced in about 30 minutes. Returning to the courtroom, judge Aram Grigoryan announced the verdict: "Recognize and declare Gagik Tsarukyan's innocence and justify Gagik Tsarukyan on the grounds that he did not commit the crime." The bail, in the amount of 100 million drams, used as a preventive measure against Gagik Tsarukyan, should be returned to the person who paid the bail. The court found Sedrak Arustamyan guilty, but did not impose the punishment provided for in the relevant article on the basis of the expiration of the statute of limitations.
