The price of gold could approach $5,000 per troy ounce in 2027, according to analytical firm Euler.
Analysts believe that prices will be driven by the demand from global central banks, the inflow of investments into exchange-traded funds, and rising production costs.
Since the outbreak of conflict in the Middle East, gold has decreased by 21%, and by 23% from the peak recorded at the end of January.
