The European Commission has set a fine of 2.95 billion euros to the American Google Corporation to violate competitive rules in the field of online advertising.
According to Brussels, the company has been using its services for years since 2014, which has been damaged by competitors, which violates Article 102 of the Treaty on European Union.
The investigation found out that Google gave an advantage to its own products, occupying a dominant position in the market.
The European Commission also noted the conflict of interest in the Business Model of the Corporation. At the same time, Google installs advertisements, acts as an intermediary advertisers and owners of online platforms, as well as management of its own advertising market.
Brussels has demanded that the company stop self-service.
