US Secretary of State Marco Rubions discussed with the Sea of the Israel Foreign Minister Gido, Syria, Lebanon and Iran, a statement issued by the US State Department's press service.
It is noted that the US and Israeli Foreign Policy Department have discussed "basic issues" about Gaza, Lebanon and Syria on Wednesday. In addition, Rubio spoke during the meeting with the head of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs touched upon Iran's alleged "malicious influence."
"The Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Sar agreed that close continuous cooperation between the two countries is necessary to ensure the security and prosperity of the region," the document reads.
