In the event of a resumption of war, Iran will deliver devastating strikes on the United States using new modern weapons. This warning was made by Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, reports Mehr.
According to him, Tehran remains ready for a diplomatic settlement if seven conditions set by the Iranian side are met. However, any attack on the country will receive a strong response.
"If any action is taken against our country, we will deliver devastating strikes against the aggressor using new weapons," Rezaei declared, citing the orders given by Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to the armed forces.
Earlier, during a meeting with the top military command, Khamenei emphasized the necessity of maintaining combat readiness to ensure maximum deterrence. He ordered an immediate and effective response to any threat, regardless of its nature or level, without limiting it to a specific geographical area.
Furthermore, the Supreme Leader instructed updating the military target database to include all material and immaterial assets of the United States and Israel, which, according to Iranian statements, could become targets of actions by Iran's armed forces.
