Former HRD of RA Arman Tatoyan wrote on his Facebook page:
"The Holy See correctly decided that it was not appropriate to broadcast the address of the Catholicos of All Armenians on Public TV.
It's not enough that they offer humiliating conditions for the publication of His Holiness the Pope's message, and by manipulating one more thing, they show that they have done everything, but look, they are renouncing the Mother See of St. Etchmiadzin.
Last year, the Public Television Company's refusal to broadcast the New Year message of the Catholicos on H1 was the result of a pathetic decision at the highest political level. The same practice continues this year.
It is a pity that the Public Television Company was engaged in the propaganda of the political power and the task of promoting this pathetic political decision.
The exceptional role and historical value of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in the life of the Armenian people cannot be undermined by any political power, especially the CP elite, no matter how much they want to, with their provocative activities targeting the Church and their obsession with maintaining power."
