The Baltic countries will impose sanctions on Georgia

Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia will impose sanctions against those involved in suppressing protests in Georgia, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said, reportsRIA Novosti.

"The three Baltic countries jointly agreed to apply national sanctions against those who suppressed legal protests in Georgia," he wrote.

Yesterday, the head of European diplomacy, Kaya Callas, and the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Martha Kos, promised in a joint communiqué that the actions of the Georgian authorities to stop the riots will have negative consequences on the relations with the European Union.
