"People". Hayk Marutyun's initiative was sent to the Ministry of Justice

"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:

"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper learned that the initiative of the former mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutani against changing the new transport tariffs was sent to the Ministry of Justice. It should be noted that the demand of the signature collection, which started two weeks ago, is to leave unchanged the fare of 100 drams per trip.

"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper learned that Aram Torosyan, head of the "National Progress" faction of the council of elders, submitted this initiative to the municipality, from where it was sent to the RA Ministry of Justice. If the ministry concludes that the initiative does not conflict with the law, then, according to the procedure, it will be included in the agenda of the Council of Elders' meetings. In a conversation with Zhoghovurd daily newspaper, the secretary of the "National Progress" faction, Isabella Abgaryan, said that it will already be included in the agenda of the year-end meeting of the Council of Elders, which is expected in December.

By the way, the members of the "National Progress" faction are considering inviting Hayk Marutyan to the session on that day, but outsiders are prohibited from entering Yerevan City Hall on the days of the Council of Elders sessions.
