As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated by the Abovyan investigative department of Kotayk Marz Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was found that the "Mercedes" was driven by 39-year-old Hovhannes Harutyunyan, a resident of Lori Marz, who, as well as his passenger, 37-year-old Sevak Sargsyan, a resident of the Marz, were taken to the "St. Grigor Lusavorich" medical center with physical injuries.

As from the scene earlier had reported photojournalist, on September 14, a major car accident took place in Kotayk region. Around 1:10 p.m., on the 131 km section of the Ijevan-Sevan-Yerevan highway, on the way to Yerevan, a "Mercedes" car left the traffic lane and collided with an "Iveco" truck parked in the permitted section.
As a result of the accident, the teams of emergency doctors of the "Abovyan" medical center, who promptly arrived, provided first aid on the spot, after which one of the injured was transferred to one of Yerevan's specialized hospitals.
The patrols of the 1st platoon of the 2nd platoon of the Kotayk Marz Battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, under the leadership of battalion commander Albert Martirosyan, deputy battalion commander Vahagn Karapetyan, senior inspector of the battalion service, responsible for the day, Artak Asatryan, promptly arrived at the scene.
Patrolmen Karen Chomoyan and Narek Grigoryan of the same company demarcated the area.
The information about the accident was transferred from the Kotayk Marz Battalion of the RA Investigative Committee to the Abovyan Investigative Department of the Kotayk Marz Investigative Department, from where the investigative team headed by the deputy head of the department Tigran Baghyan and the duty investigator responsible for the day arrived.
Due to the fact of the accident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigation department of Abovyan, where the identity of the car owners, drivers, the person who received medical aid on the spot and the injured person who was taken to the hospital were ascertained.
The photojournalist reported that as a result of the collision, "Iveco" ended up in the traffic lane.
