On September 6, at 08:00, the 112 operational control center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alarm that a fire had broken out in an apartment on Araratyan Street in Yerevan.Five firefighting teams, one ladder truck, the Fire and Rescue Department's duty team and the Psychological Support and Medical Support Department's duty team left for the scene.The fire was isolated at 08:26 and extinguished at 08:37. Temporary relaxations of the Entry/Exit System (EES) will end in the EU on September 6. Passengers are being warned that passport checks at the EU's external borders may take longer, Euronews reports.
During the summer, some EU countries had the option to temporarily suspend the collection of biometric data - fingerprints and facial images - if the EES system caused long queues at border crossings.
