The US administration has agreed to hold talks with Iranian representatives in Oman. As expected, the consultations will take place on February 6. Barak Ravid, a journalist of the American online portal Axios, announced this on the X social platform.
According to his information, according to a source in one of the Arab countries, "negotiations between the United States and Iran on the nuclear program are expected to take place on Friday in Oman." According to the same source, "US President Donald Trump's administration has agreed to move the negotiations from Turkey to Oman at the request of the Iranian side."
The journalist added that "consultations are still ongoing on the issue of whether Arab and Muslim states will participate in the negotiations to be held in Oman." Earlier, the portal reported that Iran intends to change the format of the negotiations with the US, making them bilateral, as well as move the venue from Istanbul to Oman.
