"Hraparak" newspaper writes: "We learned from our official sources that Nikol Pashinyan, through his western sponsors, is trying to convince Aliyev to abandon the demand to change the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, promising Aliyev in return to take other steps equivalent to it, to eradicate the idea of revenge from the country.
Deprived of the constitutional majority after the June 7 elections, Pashinyan is trying to convince that it will not be an easy process to reach the constitutional referendum through an alternative way.
For example, it may try to establish long-term detentions, for example, against the heroes of the Artsakh wars, the figures who turned the Artsakh issue into political capital. And it is assumed that the persecution of Robert Kocharyan, other Artsakh citizens and heroes should be considered in that context. So far, the negotiations have not reached a final result, but there are reports that it was discussed during Hajiyev's visit.
