A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook the east of Afghanistan today.

This was reported by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC).

According to seismologists, the earthquake occurred 39 km from the city of Jalalabad, a population of 200,000 and 107 km from Pakistan's Peshawar.
