Israel has not yet responded to the mediators' proposal to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. According to the Prime Minister's Adviser, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Majid Bean Mohammed Al-Anwar, the actions of the Israeli side only lead to aggravation of the situation.
"Israel has not yet responded to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," he said during a briefing held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"We do not see anything from Israel, except for the escalation, which is expressed in the intention of capturing Gaza," he added.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the mediators cooperate with the Palestinian "Hamas" movement and Israel to stop the conflict, but so far there is no "nothing new in the diplomatic process." He called on the international community to take a united position to stop the operation of Israel in Gaza.
