The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that a high-ranking terrorist of the "Islamic State" was destroyed in the Gaza Strip.
"IDF has destroyed the head of the Palestinian cell of the Palestinian cell in the Gaza Strip Mohammed Abdian Buria region (Palestinian refugee camp in the center of the Gaza section)," the statement said.
According to IDF's press service, Abu Zubutda held a high position in the terrorist organization in the Gaza Strip, "was responsible for the development of the policy of the terrorist organization in Judea and Samaria (Israel's West Bank).
"The ISIS terrorist organization has actively involved in the fight against military equipment in the Gaza Strip, as well as the collection of significant funding from Judea and Samaria to finance terrorism," said the army department.
The Israeli military has assured that they will continue to fight against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.
