Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the official reception on behalf of Chinese President Si Jinpin, which will take place on Sunday evening, Russian presidential assistant Yuri Ushakov said.
"The summit will start on the evening of August 31, at about 19:00 (Moscow time at 14:00). The first event is an official reception on behalf of the President of the Chinese People. And how the leaders of the delegations of the SCO member states and the leaders of the invited countries will take part in this reception, "Ushakov said.
The Russian President's Assistant has said that the leaders of Mongolia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Egypt, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, and representatives of Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and Turkmenistan, will also take part in the summit.
