Estonia will send troops to Ukraine if Ki is ready

The Estonian authorities are ready to send military personnel to Ukraine, on the condition that the security conditions and the relevant training of Kyiv. The statement came from the Minister of Defense of the Baltic Republic Hanno Pevkur, as soon as I arrived at the informal meeting of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministers in Copenhagen.

"Estonia has stated that we are ready to discuss this issue, then go to Ukraine.

First of all, Ukrainians must be ready for it, "he said. According to the Minister, this is a large-scale action that requires significant efforts to both logistics and security.

Pevkur stressed that even in the conditions of possible ceasefire, the deployment of an international mission in Ukraine requires serious preparation.

"When they want our presence, we must be ready for it," he added.

Earlier, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Mikal announced his readiness to send a platoon to Ukraine servicemen as part of a military contingent of the "Volunteer Coalition".
