Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has sent a message to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterresh, calling on the Bolivarian Republic to stop the hostilities and aggression.
"I turn to you to express the deep concern of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the escalation of aggression against the Government of the United States, which has reached an unprecedented level for the peace and security of the Latin America and the Caribbean," Maduro said.
The President noted that for many years Venezuela has been the object of coordinated pursuit policy by the United States, but today this aggression has moved to a more dangerous level. Military deployment of US Naval Forces and Air Force, including mines and a managed missile cruiser, as well as a high-speed nuclear submarine.
Maduro added that these actions are a gross violation of the UN Charter and the Telayrolko Treaty, which envisages the defiance of the Latin America and the Caribbean. "
The Venezuelan leader addressed the UN Secretary General to help stop the hostilities of the US government against the Bolivarian Republic and respect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country.
