TRT. Turkey will provide any support to Syria in protecting its integrity

Turkey will provide every possible support to the new Syrian authorities in protecting its territorial integrity, TRT Haber reports, citing sources of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.

"Turkey will provide full support to the Syrian government in defending its unity and territorial integrity," the sources said. They noted that "stability in Syria is directly related to Turkey's security, so every step taken in this direction contributes to peace in the region."

Ankara reminded of the memorandum signed between the two countries on August 13, according to which Turkey will provide assistance to the new Syrian authorities for the government's training, as well as military equipment and weapons.

"Within the framework of the implementation of the signed memorandum, Turkey will have the necessary investments in the establishment of educational centers in Syria, taking into account its needs," said sources.

The Turkish military also said that Ankara hopes that the management model from one center in Syria would provide the territorial integrity and unity of the Arab Republic and "will prevent the operation of separatist elements."
