Paris and Beijing are in favor of approving a ceasefire in Ukraine as soon as possible. This was announced by French President Emanuel Mcon after a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinpin.
"Dormant and stable peace is needed, it starts with immediate and unconditional ceasefire," said Macron X, noting that this is the common position of France and China.
In addition to the situation around Ukraine, the interlocutors discussed the conflict in the Middle East, as well as trade and economic ties between the two countries.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready to work with Ukraine over the Memorandum on the future peace agreement, which may include issues of ceasefire and principles of conflict resolution.
