As is known, the Anti-Corruption Court has satisfied the petition of the Anti-Corruption Committee and has chosen a two-month detention against Davit Ghazinyan as a preventive measure. The latter does not accept the accusation, because he did not talk to anyone about it.
Let's remind that on June 17, the Central Electoral Commission agreed to initiate criminal prosecution against Davit Ghazinyan and deprive him of his freedom. The Prosecutor's Office submitted such a petition, taking into account the fact that Ghazinyan is a deputy candidate and benefits from the immunity established by law. Ghazinyan's lawyer Aram Vardevanyan stated after the CEC session that the submitted petition does not contain sufficient legal grounds.
"There was no data, I had not come across such a request for a long time," he said.
