On January 13, the third President of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Chess Federation of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, visited the Chess Academy of Armenia to observe the progress of the 15th Andranik Margaryan Memorial Tournament.
The President toured the hall of the age-group Swiss tournament, where 683 chess players from Yerevan and regions participate, and also visited the regional tournament hall, where chess players from Armenia, Russia, Georgia, India and Iran compete for the international master and grandmaster standards.
