Ararat-Armenia has achieved a historic result, becoming the first Armenian club to play in the main round of the Europa League.
In the second leg of the Europa League qualifying play-off round, the Armenian champion defeated Romanian Universitatea Craiova 1:0 at Yerevan’s Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium.
The winning goal was scored by Brazilian striker Sandro Lima.
Ararat-Armenia has qualified for the main round of European competitions for the first time. The draw for the main round of the Europa League will be held on August 28.

The Euro Cup autumn will also be held in Yerevan.
