Moscow expects that after the ministerial meeting to be held in Turkey on October 18, the works of the "3+3" format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia - Russia, Turkey, Iran) will be activated. This was announced by the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoigu, Azeri reportsmass media.

"In the South Caucasus, we have done and continue to do our best to strengthen the "3+3" consultative regional platform. We expect that after the meeting of the ministers in Istanbul, the work of this mechanism will be activated," he said at the session of the secretaries of the CIS Security Council in Moscow.
