Although on April 11, "Lusavore Armenia" party has appointed an extraordinary congress, there are 2 issues on the agenda. to approve the first 30 candidates of the electoral list of the party, as well as to accept the pre-election program of the party, however, according to some reports, the "house of LAP has fallen into a fight", and there are disagreements on whether to participate in the June 7 parliamentary elections.
The point is that the leader of the party has been negotiating with the "Strong Armenia" force led by Samvel Karapetyan for a long time in order to participate on their list, but the negotiations did not give the expected result, and the LAP leader has already announced his participation in the elections.
However, there are party members with a key role in the team who are categorically against participating alone, they believe that it will be an unnecessary waste of resources, and, most importantly, they will be accused of polluting votes, because polls also show that this force is far from overcoming the temporary threshold. However, Marukyan is in favor of participation.
How this dispute will be resolved, and whether some party members will not agree to be included in the list, will become clear in a week.
