"Zhoghovurd" daily writes:
"The participation of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in training courses at the Academy of Public Administration of the Republic of Armenia in recent weeks is presented as a new manifestation of public administration culture, an example of continuous education. However, his behavior in contact with RA citizens is opposed to the behavior of an educated person. On Sunday, during the campaign in the Yerevan metro, he had a tense and harsh conversation with a woman from Artsakh, Armine Mosiyan, accusing her of leaving the country and running away. Meanwhile, she is the daughter of a fallen hero who fought for the right to live in her homeland until the last day.
To say that Pashinyan's behavior was criticized is to say nothing. Even the Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan, who shows marked inertness to political processes, responded, urging to maintain restraint and sensitivity.
But the remarkable thing in this situation is that Nikol Pashinyan is being educated and trained. I wonder what they teach him in the academy that he does not understand how to express himself in the public domain. Let's remind that the main mission of the Academy of Management is to train specialists for the field of management of the republic, to increase the qualification of managerial personnel. Why is Nikol Pashinyan unable to raise his qualifications? "Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper talked with Khachatur Ghazeyan, Rector of State Administration Academy, about these issues. - Mr. Ghazeyan, how is the Prime Minister's participation in the courses going, what is his involvement in the academic environment? - In any case, I asked both sides, both sides positively evaluate teamwork.
It seems to me that it is clear from the videos that they communicate freely and, as a listener, there is no constraint, neither among the professors nor among the group members. Equal to equal, as listeners, they go through their course. - How will you interpret the incident that has become a reason for public discussions in recent days? - To be honest, I haven't seen it. I don't know what it is about.
- The incident was widely discussed both in the republic and on international platforms. Are you not aware of it? - I am not on Facebook. I am not on social networks. I have not seen it.
- Did you not even find out about what happened through the media? - No, it was a weekend. - I inform you that in the published videos, the Prime Minister speaks, shouts and insults while talking to citizens.
How would you evaluate such behavior from the point of view of communication with citizens? - It is your assessment. I don't agree if you use such aggressive terms. I can only say about the classroom process that everything goes on in a normal atmosphere, during the break time they communicate very kindly with each other, with the members of the group. I have never seen it so aggressive, according to your definition. There is no such reaction from the members of the group.
