The state debt of the Republic of Armenia as of July 31, 2026 amounted to 5 trillion 163 billion 913.2 million drams or 14 billion 084 million 808 thousand dollars. Compared to June of this year, the state debt increased by 47 billion 536 million drams in July.
The lion's share of this amount is the debt of the Government of the Republic of Armenia - 5 trillion 160 billion 830 million drams, of which the external debt is 2 trillion 457 billion 261.6 million drams, and the internal debt is 2 trillion 703 billion 568.3 million drams.
According to the Statistical Committee, the remaining part of the state debt of the Republic of Armenia is the debt taken by communities - 3 billion 083.2 million drams.
