The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Russia and the DPRK is intended to play a stabilizing role in the Eurasian continent. This was stated by the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during the negotiations with North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Song Hu. "The strategic partnership agreement has laid solid foundations for the further deepening of our relations in all areas of the bilateral agenda," he said.
The Russian minister clarified that he is being called upon to play a stabilizing role in the Northeast Asian region and, more broadly, in the entire Eurasian continent.
