On December 9, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the newly appointed Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Feridun Hadi Sinirlioglu.
During the telephone conversation, Bayramov conveyed congratulations to Feridun Sinirlioglu, ambassador with extensive diplomatic experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, on his unanimous appointment to the post of OSCE Secretary General and wished him further success.
The Secretary General drew attention to the importance of Azerbaijan's cooperation with the OSCE. The parties exchanged ideas on various issues and perspectives of the cooperation agenda within the framework of the OSCE.
