Ceuta has started to install new barriers at sea due to the influx of migrants

The Spanish authorities have started to install new barriers in the port of Ceuta, against the background of the flow of migrants, Europa Press reports, referring to the Spanish government.

"At 7:50 a.m. (at 8:50 a.m. Moscow time) in Ceuta's Tarakhal port, the installation of restraining barriers began," the agency reported. According to Europa Press, the barrier consists of a 500-meter-long, 30-70-centimeter-high inflatable barrier, the underwater part of which is up to one meter deep, as well as a series of fins anchored to the seabed.

A passage is provided between the elements of the barrier, which allows Civil Guard boats to secure the border.
