Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that the parliaments of the world should unite their efforts to achieve a two-state solution to the Palestinian issue as soon as possible.
"I call on the parliamentarians of the world to join forces to reach a two-state solution (of the Palestinian issue) as soon as possible. This is the only formula for a just and lasting peace in Palestine," he said during the official dinner with the participants of the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to be held in Istanbul from April 15 to 19.
