Parliamentary elections in Georgia are taking place in a calm atmosphere.Sputnik Georgia reports, Natia Ioseliani, the spokesperson of the Central Electoral Commission, informed about this.

"As of now, the voting in the polling stations is going on mostly in a calm atmosphere. In separate cases, facts of interfering with the work of precinct election commissions are recorded," said Ioseliani.

The speaker called on party representatives, media and observers not to interfere with the work of the commissions and to follow the rules of conduct on the spot.

As of 10:00, 324 thousand 197 citizens took part in the voting, which is 9.27 percent of voters.
