The Hungarian parliament has fully approved the bill on the country's country (ICC). During the voting, which was broadcast on the website of the legislature, more than two thirds of the deputies voted for the document.
The final voting of the bill was preceded by heated discussions in the end of April. All the deputies of the ruling Fident-Hungarian Civil Union and their younger partners, the Christian Democrats were expressed in his favor. Representatives of opposition Liberal Democratic parties were against it.
Presenting the document in parliament, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Syyarto said that in recent years the ICC has been very politicized and has been used by various states to achieve their goals in international conflicts. "Hungary believes that politics and geopolitics have no place in international legal organizations," he said.
The Hungarian government announced the country's withdrawal from the country in early April.
