An injured white-headed vulture, a bird species registered in the Red Book of Armenia, was found in one of the settlements of Sisian community. The officers of the rescue department took the bird to a safe place.
Cooperating with the Environmental Protection and Subsoil Inspection Authority, the rescuers transported the rare bird to Yerevan for a specialized medical examination.
The bird's condition has improved.
