The first blood test to detect Alzheimer's disease was confirmed in the USA

The US Food and Drug Department (FDA) has first confirmed a blood test that can be used to accurately diagnose the disease. Prior to this, such a diagnosis was possible only through expensive pet scanning or vertebral fluid research.

The test is approved for 55 years old and high for patients who have an early signs of memory problems. It can also find out if the patient meets new medicines, such as Leqembi and Kisunla, which slightly slow down the development of the disease, and by cleaning the amyloid from the brain.

FDA officials stressed that this is an important step in providing treatment and treating the disease in an early stage. The test can only mean doctors, and it is not designed for preventive use without symptoms. This decision is a clear signal to develop accessible and effective tools in the fight against Alzheimer.
