Tensions on the CIS, particularly in Afghanistan, require modernization of skills and operational methods. This was announced by the head of the State Committee of the National Security of Tajikistan (CPA), opening the 56th session of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services in Dushanbe.
He called the international terrorist attack on the main threats to the CIS.
"The cross-border nature of this destructive phenomenon and the formation of tensions near the borders of cooperation, particularly in Afghanistan, demand our joint efforts, timely exchange of information, and the permanent update of operative work and skills," said Yatimov.
