The Chinese BYD, which has become the country's leading carmaker, aims to carry half of China outside China by 2030. The company focuses on Europe and Latin America, as the entrance to the US market is blocked with high customs duties, Reuters reports.
BYD already has factories in Thailand, will soon open in Hungary and Turkey, and plans to be the third European factory.
