Russian President Vladimir Putin praised Abu Dhabi's help in exchange of Russian-Ukrainian prisoners in a telephone conversation. The Kremlin's press service reported the content of the conversation.
The Russian leader praised the UAE assistance in the organization of detainees. "Thanks to the efforts of the Emirati side, 246 Russian servicemen were able to return home on the eve of Easter (April 19)," the statement said.
"Mohamed Al Nahyan congratulated Vladimir Putin and the Russian people on the occasion of the coming 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War," the statement said.
