"Against the background of active domestic political events in Armenia, the fact that the last units of the Russian peacekeeping troops left Artsakh was ignored.
At a solemn ceremony, the First Deputy Commander of the Russian Ground Forces, the Deputy Chief of Staff also awarded medals to Azerbaijani servicemen.
This is despite the fact that 6 Russian peacekeepers were killed during the September 2023 attack by the same Azerbaijanis, one of whom was the deputy commander of the Russian peacekeeping force in Artsakh.
The tripartite declaration of November 9, 2020 was also violated in this way, when the Russian peacekeepers were prematurely withdrawn from Artsakh by bilateral agreement.
Regardless of the fact that the Armenian government did everything to recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan and to close Artsakh's page, and Pashinyan's government is the number one responsible for the created situation, nevertheless, under the conditions of the presence of Russia, Azerbaijan's large-scale attack on Artsakh and the forced displacement of Artsakh residents show that that the Russian side also has a big problem here.
