A fire broke out in a five-story dormitory in the Kurgan region of Russia, 51 people were evacuated, including 15 children, according to Euromedia24-com, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation said.
The fire covered two rooms with an area of 60 square meters.
"With the help of self-rescuers, the employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations saved 31 people, including 15 children," the report says.
It is noted that 20 residents were brought down by an escalator, one woman was injured.
