Former Ukrainian professional football player Denis Kulakov has been appointed sports director of "Pyunik" football club, the club's press service reports.
Kulakov started his career in one of the most prestigious clubs in Ukraine, Shakhtar Donetsk, from where he made his way to the main team He won the Ukrainian Cup with Shakhtar and Vorskla is the national team of Ukraine, where he played for the first time in 2010.
Later, Kulakov spent 9 seasons in "Ural", where he became the captain and leader of the team.
"In his new role as sporting director, Denis Kulakov will lead the club's sporting department, developing a long-term strategy and creating effective tools for the development of the main team and the academy. Denis will closely cooperate with the coaching staffs of the main team and the academy to ensure the comprehensive development of the club," the club's press service reports.
