People's Artist of Russia Bedros Kirkorov was admitted to intensive care unit with pneumonia on December 20, 2024, due to failure to follow doctors' recommendations and treatment with alternative medicine.

According to the media, singer Philip Kirkorov's father did not follow the doctors' recommendations, which were prescribed after his previous hospitalization.
The 92-year-old artist allegedly decided to use Tibetan medicine for treatment, which was recommended to him by the nurse. As a result, he drank herbs, was treated with leech, warmed up and massaged.
There are currently no comments or official statements from the artist's relatives regarding the state of health of Bedros Kirkorov.
