Two people were killed and 18 others injured Thursday when a small plane crashed into the roof of a huge furniture manufacturing building in Southern California that employed at least 200 people, police said, NBC News reported.

The identities of the victims, whether they were in the air or on the ground, are not yet known, Fullerton police spokeswoman Christy Wells said.

The plane crashed two minutes after taking off from Orange County's Fullerton Municipal Airport, just six miles from Disneyland, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.
