Before the New Year, the city government of Yerevan presented a new "gift" to the citizens of Yerevan and adopted another decision about unjustified price increases. The CP wing of the Council of Elders today confirmed the actual increase in the garbage collection fee and, contrary to the court's ruling, the decision reconfirming the increase in the price of "red lines". Hayk Marutyan, the former mayor of Yerevan, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"KP shows again that it knows only one way of public administration: to increase more and more the money collected from citizens and thereby create an illusion of economic stability and development. These recent price increases, their attempts to increase the price of transportation, the increase of property tax, profit tax and other taxes and duties across the country have only one name: this is looting at the state level.
Let's also note that the CP party implements these price increases with the help of its loyal allies, the leaders of the "Republic" party Aram Z. With the help of Sargsyan and Artak Zeynalyan, as well as the remnants of the "Public Voice" faction," he noted.
