As a result of the violations committed by I.M. and V.M., on April 6, 2021, due to the emergency mode of the power supply system of the "Surmalu" shopping center, a fire broke out, as a result of which 46 million 279 thousand belonging to CJSC were damaged and destroyed. As a result of the explosion, the shopping center and adjacent buildings collapsed, various types of goods belonging to many people engaged in commercial activities in the shopping center were destroyed or damaged, several dozen cars were damaged or rendered unusable.
As a result, a total of 3 billion 579 million 230 thousand 495 AMD property damage was caused to 89 individuals and 16 legal entities. The supervising prosecutor initiated a public criminal prosecution against I.M. and V.M. (violation of fire safety rules or requirements, which negligently caused the death of a person or other serious consequences).
I.M. and V.M. were banned from being absent as a preventive measure.
The criminal proceedings were sent to the supervising prosecutor with an indictment.
